The CC Plus is the better robot if you're near 35–40 ft; for a smaller pool, the CC is the same idea for less. ### What we like - Floor and wall cleaning with the same active scrubbing brush family as the CC Plus - About 10,700 Amazon reviews — a very deep owner sample - Rated for in-ground and above-ground pools up to 33 ft - Often $100–$200 cheaper than the CC Plus ### Watch out for - No waterline cleaning, no app and no timer - Smaller pool rating (33 ft) than the CC Plus (40 ft) - Average Amazon rating of about 4.0 stars — good, not exceptional ## Score breakdown Cleaning 8 Convenience 7.4 Build & reliability 8.8 Value 7.8 Reach: Pools to 33 ft · Corded · ~2 hr cycle, no charging ## Nautilus CC specs | Brand | Dolphin | | --- | --- | | Type | Corded | | Pool type | In-ground & above-ground | | Cleans | Floor · Walls | | Runtime | Corded · ~2 hr cycle, no charging | | Rated reach | Pools to 33 ft | | Power | Corded (plug-in power supply) | | Filtration | Top-load filter basket | | Navigation | Smart Navigation, active scrubbing brush | | App control | No | | Warranty | 1 year | | Price tier | $$ Mid-range ($500–$1,000). Pool robots are re-listed and re-badged often, so confirm on the Amazon page before buying. The Dolphin Nautilus CC is the entry model in Dolphin’s Nautilus line: a corded robot that climbs walls, scrubs the floor with an active brush and runs for about a 2-hour cycle without ever needing a charge. The listing rates it for above- and in-ground pools up to 33 ft. It sells for about $600–700, has roughly 10,700 Amazon reviews at a 4.0-star average, and has a 1-year warranty. ## Who the Nautilus CC is for (and who should skip it) It’s for you if your pool is 33 ft or shorter and you want a proven corded robot at the lowest Nautilus price. A 16×32 ft pool, one of the most common sizes, sits right at the limit of its rating. With 10,000-plus reviews, this robot has a lot of owner feedback behind it. Skip it if your pool is longer than about 33 ft (the [CC Plus](https://robotpoolcleanerguide.com/pool-robots/dolphin-nautilus-cc-plus/) is rated for 40), if you want waterline cleaning, an app or a timer, or if you’d rather not manage a cord. The cordless [Sora 10](https://robotpoolcleanerguide.com/pool-robots/beatbot-sora-10/) costs less and cleans the waterline. ## What it cleans Floor and walls. The active scrubbing brush is the same family as on the CC Plus. It doesn’t clean the waterline and doesn’t skim. ## Power and handling It’s corded, so there’s no battery to monitor or replace. The listing gives dimensions around 22.2 × 17.6 × 12.8 inches; weight is listed in kilograms on the listing and we don’t quote it because reviewers disagree on the figure. Top-load filter access makes emptying the basket tidy. ## Reliability Ten thousand-plus reviews and a 4.0 average is a mixed-to-solid record, and the 1-year warranty is short. As with any corded robot, a lot depends on pool care and cable handling. We explain typical lifespans in [how long robotic pool cleaners last](https://robotpoolcleanerguide.com/posts/how-long-do-robotic-pool-cleaners-last/). ## Bottom line A solid, proven corded robot for a typical-size pool. If your pool is close to 35–40 ft, choose the CC Plus; if you want a cordless robot that cleans the waterline for less money, our [budget guide](https://robotpoolcleanerguide.com/posts/best-budget-robotic-pool-cleaners/) has better choices.
